DESCRIPTION:TETHERING covers working as part of a team with a standing o
 r seated student being assisted via the use of tethers. Tethering is use
 ful in a wide variety of lessons and is a very common part of teaching h
 ere at Maine Adaptive. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nVI/COG is short for “Visually i
 mpaired or Cognitive”. This year we’re placing special emphasis on g
 rowing our VI guiding skills\, so expect most of our time spent on that.
  This class will give an overview of how to work with and through some o
 f the common types of cognitive impairments our students live with.
