Camp sNOw Limits Returns to Maine for an Inspiring Weekend at Saddleback Mountain

NEWRY, ME (February 18, 2026) – Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation is proud to welcome back Camp sNOw Limits, an unforgettable winter experience for children and adults with limb loss or limb difference. The three-day adaptive ski and snowboard camp will take place from February 27 to March 1 at Saddleback Mountain, bringing families together from across the country for a weekend of connection, confidence-building, and mountain adventure.

Camp sNOw Limits is part of the national Camp No Limits organization, whose mission is to educate, mentor, and empower youth with limb loss and limb difference while fostering a strong, supportive community. Through Maine Adaptive’s partnership with Saddleback Mountain, participants gain access to expert instruction, adaptive equipment, and a welcoming mountain environment designed to ensure every camper can thrive on the snow.

“Our long-standing partnership with Camp No Limits is rooted in a shared commitment to empowering children with limb differences,” said Lizz Peacock, Co-Executive Director of Maine Adaptive. “Hosting Camp sNOw Limits at Saddleback Mountain is an incredible opportunity to bring families from across the country together in an environment where they can build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the joy and freedom of winter sports. We are honored to continue this meaningful collaboration and to create life-changing experiences on the mountain.”

Throughout the weekend, Maine Adaptive’s highly trained volunteer instructors provide individualized ski and snowboard lessons at no cost to participating families. Using specialized adaptive equipment and proven teaching techniques, the team ensures that each camper progresses at their own pace while gaining skills and self-assurance.

For returning camper Michael, the impact of Camp sNOw Limits has been life-changing. “I never snowboarded before Camp sNOw Limits. It let me try out single-track skiing and helped me learn the basics of snowboarding, and inspired me to become a Paralympic snowboarder one day. I’ve learned a lot and practiced a lot since last year and can’t wait to show all the instructors how good I got.”

Beyond the mountain, Camp sNOw Limits creates space for families to connect, share stories, and celebrate milestones together. Whether it’s navigating a new trail, cheering one another on, or gathering after a day on the snow, the experience strengthens bonds and builds a sense of belonging that lasts long after the weekend ends.

Camp sNOw Limits continues to be a powerful reminder that winter sports are for everyone and that, with the right support, there are truly no limits.
