Join us in cheering on Team Maine Adaptive—a group of 10 dedicated athletes who are running the 2025 Beach to Beacon 10K with more than finish lines in mind. They’re running to raise $10,000 to support Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation’s mission: increasing access to year-round adaptive sports and outdoor recreation for children and adults with disabilities.

Whether it’s the thrill of skiing down Sunday River, the freedom of riding a handcycle along the coast, or the joy of paddling with a team on a summer lake, your support brings these experiences to life.

Every dollar raised by Team Maine Adaptive helps provide:

  • Specialized adaptive equipment like sit-skis, handcycles, and tandem bikes
  • Inclusive programs in skiing, cycling, paddling, climbing, and more
  • Unforgettable experiences for veterans, youth, and adults with disabilities
  • Training and support for hundreds of volunteers who make it all possible

In 2024 alone, Maine Adaptive served over 400 athletes across 12 locations in Maine, and demand continues to grow.
