THE GRAND SALMON | 52.5 minutes | by Jess Wiegandt | United States | Short synopsis: The Grand Salmon is an environmental documentary following the journey of three women who paddled 1,000 miles to recreate the journey wild salmon make each year to the Pacific Ocean. With eight dams along the way, these women experience why salmon populations are dwindling and explore what must be done to bring them back from the brink of collapse.

This day is set aside for neurodiverse students who can use a calm, soothing space; it will also give a chance for their caregivers to connect over lunch provided courtesy of the Penobscot Foundation. Preregistration is required. Email info@maineadaptive.org
